I contacted Precision about an issue I was having with my garage door. It was stopping about 3/4 of the way up on some of the openings. A tech came out to look at the situation and told us that we had a builder grade door and that the door was flexing too much from use and he would recommend replacing it. The garage door and home are only 3 years old, so we had a hard time believing that it was because of the door, but he was adamant that was the issue. We decided to pay over $1300 to have a new door installed that they said would fix the problem. The day after I had the new door system installed, I went to leave for work and hit the opener, it stopped 3/4 of the way up again. I called Precision that morning and let them know that the door wasn't the issue and I was not happy about spending the money I had on a whole new door system(that i didn't think was the problem in the first place) and it still didn't work. Precision told me they would come back out and look at the situation again. The tech came out a week later and told me that it must be the opener and that it needed replaced. So, we had him replace the opener. Within two days of the opener being replaced, the garage door stuck again. I again contacted Precision and they sent somebody out a week later to evaluate the situation. The tech claimed that he didn't know what the problem could be, and said that maybe my kids were pushing the buttons when the door was opening. I thought he was joking, but he was not. I have called Precision over a dozen times in the past few months explaining the situation, and the call center says that someone will be in contact. Nobody will even give me the courtesy to return a phone call. I am extremely disappointed in this company and would not recommend them in the future. If there is an issue that they don't understand, expect them to give up and leave you high and dry without being about to contact them or speak to anybody.

Wow!! I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with Precision/Cleveland Garage Doors! Our opener broke this morning, leaving us stranded with door half up! I called and was quoted a late morning service visit and a wonderful serviceman, John, actually got to my house earlier. He immediately saw the problem, explained everything clearly, and gave me options to fix the issue. He was very nice and worked quickly to install a new opener. John then explained everything that I need to know about operating it, etc. and I love this new opener! I cannot believe how quiet it is and we can access it from an app, plus a back up battery in case of a power outage. What a fabulous business. I am impressed with the superfast response time, the high quality opener and most of all, the superb service that John provided. I feel that this is a top-notch operation with highly skilled, honest, genuinely nice service people. Thank you to John for saving our day!

I looked you up in the yellow pages when the company i used before could not get some to me as the advertisement promised. I office sales person explained what the technician would do upon arrival. Anthony did exactly what she said and explained what my other options were and the cost of each. He did and excellent job (5 stars) and completed the work within an hour. He also changed the code on my outside lock as well as hooking up my care remote. GREAT TIMELY SERVICE.

I called Wednesday evening and had service Thursday early afternoon. It was helpful to get a reminder email with pictures of the technicians and a call when the technician was on the way. I had bought a Groupon deal for new rollers, garage door inspection, and a keyless remote pad to be installed. The whole process was amazing I had called precision after getting my voucher and the friendly receptionist got me scheduled earlier than I was expecting. I immediately got a email confirmation with my technicians name and biography. When Anthony arrived he looked at my door and asked what my concerns were if any. He explained to me why my belt on my opener was sagging after closing the door. He explained to me that my door was out of balance and my springs were showing signs of fatigue. He thoroughly explained what could be done and a few options to get the door back to optimal operation. I decided on a door rebuild and got a small discount since I had already paid for some of the labor costs. Anthony was very polite and professional, he never tried to push any of the services he explained. He got the job done in bout an hour and the door works better then ever. Will be using precision in the future when I need more maintenance done.
