We contacted Precision Garage Door Service on Easter Sunday because the garage door spring broke and we could not get the car out. Their BBB rating and a recommendation from our neighbor prompted us to choose them over other repair services plus they offered an appointment time in the morning of the following day. I had the springs replaced for the same reason many years ago by another company that was no longer in operation. My confidence in Precision was increased when a friendly, live person answered the phone to make the appointment...on Easter! The technician called about 30 minutes before he arrived and within the appointment window of time. I was quoted a range of services that would solve my problem without a wait. I chose to replace both of the springs as well as the cables. The cables were frayed but not broken yet. The job took about 90 minutes, as the technician estimated. All of my questions were answered before he started, as he was working and after the job was finished. The technician was friendly, courteous and professional throughout the job. We tested the garage door operation at the end of the job and minor adjustments were made, per my request.

We needed emergency repair when one of the door springs snapped late Friday afternoon. Our usual company no longer did 24-hour service and couldn’t come out for three days. A friend recommended Precision, and I was so impressed—from the person who answered the phone to Paul, the technician, who arrived three hours before the scheduled time the next day. He was personable and knowledgeable, and he not only replaced the springs, but also other parts that were showing wear. The job was completed quickly, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Precision Door...great company! I would highly recommend them. My garage door broke late on a Saturday evening. I wasn’t sure what service companies would be available, if any, on a weekend. So,I went to Angie‘s list. Precision Door’s high rating, 24 hour available service and no extra charge for weekend service immediately caught my eye. I called and spoke to Jennifer. Wonderful lady. She tried to get me immediate service on Saturday, but that didn’t work out. However, she did set me up for service Sunday morning, at NO EXTRA CHARGE. Greg came out and diagnosed the problem quickly, a snapped steel cable. I also knew beforehand I needed to replace my garage door. Greg quickly and efficiently got my door back in operating condition, and explained all my options. He gave me a quote to replace my door and even applied some discounts that saved me $200!! I gave him the ok to order the door. That would take 2 weeks to arrive. Very grateful to Greg for his professionalism and efficiency. Today, two weeks later, my new door was installed by John Gilles. It took him 2 hours from start to finish. Unbelievable!! He was fantastic!! I am very happy with the new door and John’s installation. He is obviously a skilled tradesman that knows his craft well. Nice guy too! In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with this company.
