I called on Sunday, Zoran came out on Sunday. When my garage door opens, it goes to far and hits the motor with a bang and shaking. He noticed right away that the stopping mechanism was broken, however the parts that he had did not fit my old Genie. He said he would check the warehouse for the part and come back Tues or Wed. He told me to try stopping the door before it gets too close to the motor. I said OK. He asked for a deposit, witch I gave. Job not finished today, but Precision has been good to me before, so I expect the same now.

He realigned the cable/pulley and fixed the bent track. Problem resolved in 15-30 minutes; works smooth as silk. We discussed maintenance, replacement of opener. Installer was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. My only issue was the cost. I was quoted $185 to replace my broken door spring but the installer said he couldn't replace just one spring so it was twice as much to replace the broken one plus the spring that wasn't broken. And because their new springs mounted to the center plate differently, they also replaced that (another $90 for that little piece of metal) to bring the total bill to $460.

Precision was very easy to work with, very courteous and punctual. My tech was Paul, and he was very likeable and professional, did good work, and cleaned up after himself very neatly. I only gave 4 stars, because I did spend more than I had wanted to, but my door is now operating perfectly, and I have a couple years worth of warranty on their work and parts. Glad I hired Precision and let the pros handle this one, even if it was expensive.
