I contacted Precision about an issue I was having with my garage door. It was stopping about 3/4 of the way up on some of the openings. A tech came out to look at the situation and told us that we had a builder grade door and that the door was flexing too much from use and he would recommend replacing it. The garage door and home are only 3 years old, so we had a hard time believing that it was because of the door, but he was adamant that was the issue. We decided to pay over $1300 to have a new door installed that they said would fix the problem. The day after I had the new door system installed, I went to leave for work and hit the opener, it stopped 3/4 of the way up again. I called Precision that morning and let them know that the door wasn't the issue and I was not happy about spending the money I had on a whole new door system(that i didn't think was the problem in the first place) and it still didn't work. Precision told me they would come back out and look at the situation again. The tech came out a week later and told me that it must be the opener and that it needed replaced. So, we had him replace the opener. Within two days of the opener being replaced, the garage door stuck again. I again contacted Precision and they sent somebody out a week later to evaluate the situation. The tech claimed that he didn't know what the problem could be, and said that maybe my kids were pushing the buttons when the door was opening. I thought he was joking, but he was not. I have called Precision over a dozen times in the past few months explaining the situation, and the call center says that someone will be in contact. Nobody will even give me the courtesy to return a phone call. I am extremely disappointed in this company and would not recommend them in the future. If there is an issue that they don't understand, expect them to give up and leave you high and dry without being about to contact them or speak to anybody.

I was absolutely satisfied with the prompt, quality service provided by Paul, the technician. He took care of the sensor problem plus replaced the garage door bearings that were ready to bust. He explained the problem easily and patiently. I would hire Precision again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely wonderful service! My double garage door would not open and I could not lift door manually. I was scheduled to pick up relatives at the airport and car was in garage! I called Precision and Anthony Wise came out that morning. Anthony called before he arrived was kind, courteous and quickly solved the problem. The spring had broken and the end bearing plates were shot. I would highly recommend Precision. This is the second time I have used this company. The last was 9 years ago.

Bill Adamini efficiently and expertly replaced a broken door spring under warranty. He replaced both springs as is best practice. Did a tune up (lube and tightened bolts) and performed a balance check. Will highly recommend this business to friends and neighbors.

My technician was Anthony Wise. He was prompt, knowledgeable and helpful. The springs on our garage door were not correct, so he replaced them and made sure they were strong enough for our door, which is very heavy. When he replaced the old springs, he went up a size and after realizing even those were still insufficient, he replaced them again at no additional charge to make sure everything was done correctly. He also was conscientious of my time and specifically asked how much time I had before needing to get to work.

Our old opener was installed in 1995, so time for a new one as it was no longer working. The technician (John Frank) came out the next day after calling for service. After explaining the new opener features and cost, he said it would be 1 hour to install, and it was. Felt bad he had to work during this really cold spell we're having. Everything works fine, so quiet compared to the old one, also we're able to open the garage with our smartphones.

Your technician, Bill Adamini, called ahead and arrived right on time. He tightened springs, adjusted opener, replaced and lubricated rollers. During his inspection, he found a bearing that had seized and was wearing the bar the springs were on. He replaced the bearings. The garage door works great! Excellent service and work.

5 stars! Bill Adamini did a great job on repairing our broken garage door. He was prompt and courteous and explained how a spring had broken and then gave me a couple of options for the repair. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He also spoke with my Home Warranty company and helped me receive partial payment for the repair. He explained in detail all of the work he had done and how to keep it operating smoothly in the future. As he was leaving he even brought up my trash can from the curb to my home! Great Service! My experience with Precision Door Service was absolutely outstanding. I called in for an issue with a broken torsion spring at 8:00 AM and Zoran Jovanovic was at my house before 12:00. Zoran had the garage door operational in no time, replacing both springs and verifying the functionality and balance of the door. I will recommend Zoran and Precision Door to everyone.
