The emergency situation of a broken torsion spring and the late Friday availability prompted my scheduling an appointment with Precision. The fact that I was able to speak with your office administrator, Jennifer, and not just a phone service was helpful in discussing my non-accessible garage situation. Jennifer was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. John Franks, the service technician, provided a courtesy call informing that he was able to come a little earlier which was fine with me. John arrived promptly at the scheduled time. John was found to be extremely knowledgeable regarding our current, 70+ year old garage door and torsion spring situation, plus was found to be very courteous and respectful in discussing our situation with respect to repairing the door versus a new door. We weighed both options and concluded to go with a new door. John did not pressure us to purchase a new door but was rather helpful in showing us the benefits and aesthetics of a new C.H.I door. We went ahead and inked a deal for a new door. We look forward to the installation and the curb appeal transformation the door will provide to our home. Kudos to the Precision team!

My garage door cable snapped on a Friday, and I called Precision Garage Door for service. I was pleased that they were able to come out the following day. John Franks was my service technician. He was very amiable and knowledgeable, and he explained what services I needed. I really just wanted to get the cables fixed at this visit and he did not give me a high pressure sell which is very big for me. I also needed new rollers too. The price was within my budget, and he was able to have the door fixed in under an hour. That was great. Thanks!

First, I would like to apologize,thinking that it was your Company, that installed my old garage door opener, four years ago. My old garage door opener was much older. The Tech.,Repairer, who came to help, with the problem, I was having with my door opener,was very prompt, courteous' and dressed appropriate, for work.Once he saw what was happening with my door. His explanation was very clear, what I needed to do. SO,I purchased a New garage door opener. The Tech. were on point with the Installation and explaining to me as he processed thru the installation. I must say, I love my NEW GARAGE DOOR OPENER. It is so much, QUIETER. Thank You.

John, Was very pleasant and was very professional when inspecting my garage door to discover what was the issue. Always checked in with me before proceeding with any procedure to resolve the issue. At the close he presented to me options that were available to make this issue would not happen again. I appreciated this because he left it up to me to decide what to do...applied not sales pressure. When he informed me the garage door opener was not powerful enough for the wooden garage doors original to the house to left then I knew what I had to be done. When I replaced the garage door opener last year the company that installed it did not inform me of the power that was needed to raise the garage door. My service was quick and simple, and my technician, John Franks, was very proessional, kind, and knowleable in helping me resolve it -- over the phone! My garage door would go up but not down, and the keypad on the garage wouldn't work either. He advised me to check that both sensor lights were on and not blocked by anything. In so doing, I found that one side was blocked by a snow shovel -- DUH!! He told me to remove it and try the fob again. Low and behold, the garage door went up AND down, and the code on the keypad worked! Needless to say, I was ecstatic -- to tears even! I am so thankful to a company that provides excellent customer service whether it results in a monetary transaction or not -- even though that is ALWAYS appreciated. My technician resolved my problem over the phone, thus avoiding ME a service charge, and HIM a trip for something that the customer could resolve, by themself, in one step. In my heart and mind, Precision is profoundly a five-star company/business that provides five-star customer service in addition to considering the customer's pocket, as well as their own. I would recommend them to ANYONE needing garage service.

When I called I was advised there would be no service fee if work was performed,ànd yet I was charged the 65.00 along with the fee for spring adjustment. Then I was advised the door would be lubricated. I was not advised it was an additional fee or was given an opportunity to decline. I was not provided the breakdown on the invoice to review, only the signature line. I asked why it so high but did not receive an answer.what a deceiptfull practice. The way I see it this company owes me $85.00. There was only a spring adjustment needed and it was a 15 minute job. I cannot at this point recommend Precision as your technicians clearly take advantage of senior citizens and will be happy to share this online if it is not rectified.

The door that was purchased 4 years ago through Precision was closing crooked. Scheduled a service call. John arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me that all parts were part of the warranty. Parts were replaced at no charge and the door functions properly. Only charge was for reasonable service call.

Jim, The tech John Franks inspected my door as a result of the door on Nov. 7 malfunctioning whereas the door in the closed position going up and stopping half way with a loud snapping sound. Very pleased with the quick appointment time. Techs are very knowledgeable and courteous. This is the third time (3 different houses) that I have used them. I would highly recommend them for any garage door issues. They point out any worn down or ready to break parts, but do not pressure you to have them fixed on the spot. Very thorough job. The only company I will every use for garage door problems.

We moved into our new home only to discover the previous owners had left us no working garage door openers. John came out the next day and got us set up with two working remotes and programmed my husband’s car, too. While he was here, he also inspected the system and noted the door had been backed into a few times and that was why it made so much noise. Although he did sell us the necessary door replacement, he also pointed out the motor was still in good condition. I appreciated his honesty. I would not have been the wiser. He also reminded me to check the home owners association architectural standards. Good thing he did because the first one I had picked out would not have been accepted.
