Jim, The tech John Franks inspected my door as a result of the door on Nov. 7 malfunctioning whereas the door in the closed position going up and stopping half way with a loud snapping sound. It has been working correctly ever since and John could not duplicate the malfunction and no repair was needed. John was very polite and respectful....

Very pleased with the quick appointment time. Techs are very knowledgeable and courteous. This is the third time (3 different houses) that I have used them. I would highly recommend them for any garage door issues. They point out any worn down or ready to break parts, but do not pressure you to have them fixed on the spot. Very thorough job. The only company I will every use for garage door problems.

We moved into our new home only to discover the previous owners had left us no working garage door openers. John came out the next day and got us set up with two working remotes and programmed my husband’s car, too. While he was here, he also inspected the system and noted the door had been backed into a few times and that was why it made so much noise. Although he did sell us the necessary door replacement, he also pointed out the motor was still in good condition. I appreciated his honesty. I would not have been the wiser. He also reminded me to check the home owners association architectural standards. Good thing he did because the first one I had picked out would not have been accepted.

My sister referred me to Precision. I thought I only needed a simple repair, however, John (my technician) pointed out all of defects with my garage door and even I had to agree I needed a new door. Being on a fix income I can appreciate the fact I only had to come up with half down and the other half was due upon completion of the job which gave me time to come up with the other half. On the day John was to arrive to replace my door I was surprise he was doing the job by himself. I can rave about John all day long as he did an excellent job. John is very friendly and was able to answer all of my questions. I can also appreciate the five year warranty that came with my new garage door. All in all I had a wonderful experience and would rate Precision with an A+. Thank you Precision and John..with all of my heart...I thank you.

We were very pleased at the prompt same-day service provided by Precision. The technician, J. Franks, arrived when he said he would and did a through inspection of our garage door system, he explained what work was to be done and why the work was needed, and told us upfront what the total cost would be. We realized our door was broken on Friday, we called Saturday morning and by Saturday evening all was fixed. Fast, easy, good communication, and friendly. Everything was explained, I was given options and there were no surprises. Even some slight adjustments made at the end of the job to make it better when we talked it over. I phoned Precision because the cable snapped on one of my garage bay doors. They arranged for a serviceman to fix it that very afternoon. I was stunned. Right after being stunned, I was impressed at the professional website accompanying the confirmation of the appointment. The website included assurances that the service person would be driving a truck with the company's name on it and be wearing a uniform. I was told the name of the person assigned to my repair and was able to see his photograph and read reviews previous customers had posted about him. John Franks phoned to tell me he was on the way to my house and provided an arrival time. He was exactly on time. He looked at the job and made an assessment to see if there were any other critical fixes the bay door needed. You know repairmen always find some other critical fix. But John Franks did not tell me any stories that implied impending doom if I did not lay out more money for repairs. In fact, he didn't even charge me for the service call. This guy is a professional and deserving of all the complements written by previous customers. I will always call Precision when I have a garage door problem.

I have have to say I was really impressed with the whole service. The customer service department was able to set up an appointment very quickly. John called 15 minutes ahead and arrived promptly. He was congenial and professional. He genuinely showed enthusiasm for his work. I was worried that he would not be able to open the door as it seemed frozen to me and there is no window or side door to allow access inside, but when he was able push one side of the garage door in there was a metallic pop followed by the door opening. I had to resist going into Don Rickles mode; "What are you, some kind of garage door chiropractor?" But John looked around and made a recommendation. He explained why he was recommending certain things and how he would do them. He also never used any jargon and was clear and concise in his language. His work was done promptly and thoroughly. I highly recommend this company.

After searching the internet for local garage door repair, I selected Precision because of the vast amount of positive reviews.
