What a truly great company! We had trouble with a broken spring but the tech also pointed out issues with the cable and rollers. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous. We elected to have all of the maintenance completed and it came with life-time warranty. The customer service was superb! Tech was very prompt and friendly. This company makes excellent use of the web interface; confirming appt, invoice, etc. Wow!

Brad Buzzelli assisted Bill Adamini because Bill had not installed an 8500 opener before. Brad and Bill did a good job installing the opener and a new door. I rate Precision with four stars because of poor "communication" between Precision and the customer. I did not get quotes from any other door/opener companies because I was impressed with your web site and you had a good review (although customers noted that are more expensive) on Angie's List. I bought a new opener (8500) and a door. The communication problems: (1) Paul quoted the job, but it was 48 hours until I received the email quote confirmation. (2) It took seven days for Precision to get a delivery schedule from your supplier. (3) When Bill arrived to install the opener and door, he discovered that Paul had not measured correctly and, thus, after Bill's new measurements, a different opener had to be ordered (the 3595). (4) One week later, Precision tells me that neither the 3595 nor its new replacement (8587) are available.This required yet another (the third time) opener to be ordered (the 8500), with the price going up with each new opener. Additional comments: (a)Your technicians should know more than just three opener models. Only after looking at Liftmaster's website and talking with Liftmaster Customer Service did I learn that my situation of limited ceiling area for a belt or chain drive might have had an alternative solution (splice a belt or tilt the rail). I had wanted a belt drive. (b) Upon completing the job, Bill provided me with an owners manual for the opener, but no manual for the door. I had to call Precision to request a manual for the door. Bill, a week later, brought me a door manual from another job. The manual was dirty (as though it had been on a muddy floor). (c) After installing the opener and door, Bill returned to correct a slight problem with door weather stripping. No major problem, but another "Gosh, it didn't go right the first time." PS. Although I initially wanted a belt drive, I am pleased with the 8500 (even though I don't need all the high-tech features). I should note that Paul had suggested the 8500, but at that time, I did not want to pay more for the 8500 and all of its high-tech features which I did not (do not) want.

I don't know that I've ever been more impressed with a company than I was with the repair that was done on my garage door on Sunday. As my wife and I were leaving for Sunday brunch, our door came off track, dangling on both sides. I called to schedule an appointment as I was already preparing to call off work on Monday, as my car was stuck in the garage. To my shock, I got a same day appointment. To even more of a shock, Bill was able to come out, do the repair, and be cleaned up in less than an hour. To my complete amazement, everything was covered under my warranty from the repair I had to do in the fall. I couldn't ask for more. Incredibly quick service, incredible attention to detail, and it was covered under the warranty!?!? You have a customer for life.

Thanks to Precision Door for handling our garage repair in the most professional way possible. Our spring and cable broke after normal business hours. I called the 800# listed on the website and received a next day appointment. Our technician, Bill, called the following morning (in advance of the scheduled afternoon appointment) and was able to fit me in earlier than expected due to a cancellation. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through all of my options without any high-pressure sales pitch. I appreciate his professionalism, along with his great attitude - THANK YOU!

I called Precision to fix a garage door opener that worked but was extremely loud and I was concerned it would quit in this cold. They showed up on time, was quick to determine the issue and efficient in putting in a new opener. The price was higher than I had anticipated but considering the installation and the quality of the new opener I am very pleased. The technician was excellent, friendly, courteous and most important was efficient and knowledgeable.

Precision certainly met and exceeded my expectations! My service technician Bill was terrific - friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I could not have asked for a better experience. Bill quickly diagnosed the problem and after giving me several repair/replacement options, he replaced the worn gear in the overhead motor. After taking such good care of me Bill left to assist a neighbor of mine. A few days later my door needed adjustment - it was stopping a few inches above the floor. Bill was extremely speedy in returning and making the necessary adjustment. What service! I will not hesitate to contact Precision Door for future door issues. Thank you, so much.

Bill was very professional, explained everything to my satisfaction and understanding level. Prompt, easy to talk to and thorough, when he came out today to replace our door opener. He checked all aspects of our garage door and also discovered that the wire that travels in the tracks to pull the door up and down was getting frayed / worn out, so we replaced that also - saved us from having that break next! Very pleased with his service, and he represents your company very well! Note - I'm not sure whether the new opener is the Liftmaster belt or gear drive type - it's the 3/4 horsepower better model.

First, I was happy to see that my repair could happen on the same day. My appointment was scheduled for 3-6 timeframe and Bill actually showed up early which was even better! He did a great job with the repair as well as going over my opener to make sure it runs better. He was able to repair it even better than before I had my issue. Bill got here ahead of schedule. He tried to get things back working with as little extra charge as possible. Unfortunately, the problem was extensive. He finished up the rebuild quickly, and cleanly, tweaked the door opener, and educated me on upkeep of the garage door. All in al, an excellent experience.

This was a WOW. Just moved into town and have had multiple services and technicians at my home. Bill and Precision doors knocked it our of the park. First was when I called at 9.30p and was able to schedule appointment, then confirmation email with the name and picture of technician unbelievable. Lastly and most important was our technician Bill. He was knowledgeable(he knew product, how to use technology), kind (did a great job with myself and wife explaining), caring( I asked him how long he had worked their and he said 2 years a loved his job) and cleaned up after himself. this is a great company and will tell many about how great of an experience it was. WOW WOW WOW. This is customer satisfaction at it's best.

My 30+ year old Genie door opener finally died, so Bill did a replacement in the unheated garage in this subzero weather. I was surprised that he had the supplies to replace not only the dead unit but the one on my 2nd door as well. Bill completed the replacements in a timely manner and without succumbing to hypothermia. He also hauled away the old parts and cleaned up all the debris. I haven't had the opportunity to give the new units a big workout, as I've been hiding inside keeping warm. But from what I've seen so far, the new units are super quiet and smooth. I'm quite satisfied with the work and the product. Bill was courteous and knowledgeable and very good at explaining what went wrong and what needed to be done. I would not hesitate to recommend Precision based on my experience with Bill. I hope that he did not get frostbite.

Bill arrived right on time to what I thought would be a repair job on our existing garage door opener. Our old opener was 20 years old and could not be repaired. Bill explained my options and I decided on a new opener. Bill is very courteous, friendly, and has a great work ethic. He installed the new opener the same day, and returned the following morning in -8 degree weather to finish the weatherstripping. I would recommend Bill to everyone.

Competitor needed two days to get a repairman out. I called Precision at 11:30, and was given a 1pm-3pm availability window the same day. Bill showed up by 12:30 after calling ahead to ask if it would be OK to show up early. He was quick and professional, and the job was finished within 2 hours. The level of service and the quality of the technician is a tough combination to beat. Bill was great. Works like a charm now.

Used your ad in the AT&T Yellow Pages. The add was clear and concise and your ability to service on the weekends was a determining factor. I would rate your 2 full page add a 5..! As for the work done, Bill Adamini was personable, polite, respectful to property and informative. He completed the work needed in 90 minutes. While I was not prepared to put out over $1,000, I feel very confident that Precision will stand behind their work and warranty. I have one minor concern and that is that the garage door is not closing EVERY time. There is a small bump in the track that Bill & I addressed, and I will give this a week to work itself out. If it still persists in a week, I will call Bill to have it adjusted.......

Bill Adamini is a very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly technician. He replaced my old Liftmaster (21 years old) with a new belt driven unit, and did it in less than an hour. I could not have been more pleased with the service he provided. I hesitated giving a five star rating because I thought the price was a little steep, but thought that would be unfair to Bill. He deserved five stars. Nice going, Bill.
