The Precision Tech called to give me 15 minutes notice that he was on his way which was very helpful to me. He quickly analyzed and resolved the issue that I was having with the sensor and checked the other door components and springs to make sure everything was in good working order. He was very courteous and explained things well which was also helpful. I also appreciate the senior discount and would definitely call Precision again, if needed.

This past Friday I was closing my garage door when the spring completely broke. I googled area garage door service/repair companies and Precision was one of the first on the list. I called and actually spoke with a real person, who tried to get a technician out to me that day. When she was unable she said she could have someone out the next day for no additional charge. Unfortunately I was going to be out of town through the weekend so she scheduled an appointment for Monday between 8 & 10AM. Around 8:15 I received a phone call from Bill Adamini saying he was en route and would be arriving in 20 minutes. Once he arrived he assessed my garage door situation and explained to me that not only were my springs bad but my cables were fraying as well. He walked me through step by step what was wrong with my garage door and why he wasn't able to fix certain parts of it. My house was built in 1949 so many of the parts are not even made anymore. I inquired about purchasing a new garage door altogether and he was able to give me information on that as well, along with quotes. He ended up fixing the springs and said that if I were interested in purchasing a garage door through Precision that the total I paid for the springs would be deducted from the garage door total. Also, he did not charge me a service fee for coming out to my house. He was polite, courteous, and friendly and explained things to me in detail. He documented everything and then showed me at the end what his write up looked like. I would recommend Precision to anyone looking for prompt,reliable and professional service.

It is refreshing to work with a technician that is so professional, honest and friendly. We had Bill stop by on Friday to repair our old opener that had been malfunctioning. He took time to review the problem and discuss repair options. We settled on purchasing an opener and having him install it on the following Monday. He provided us with his business card so that we could reach him with any questions and he gave us excellent advice. Bill arrived right on time and had the garage door opener installed and my cars programmed within an hour. Impressed by their website I called Precision to help me with my emergency situation, which was a half open garage door with my only car trapped in the garage. After calling for service, Bill Adamini arrived within 45 minutes, which was also impressive. He was highly professional and very nice, offering me competent help and assistance. He solved my immediate problem, which got my car out of the garage and the door closed. I now look forward to having him back in a few weeks to instal a new door and opener. Our current garage door opener was 20+ years old and chose to fail today Monday March 3, 2014 as I was leaving for work. It closed down to about 2 feet from the ground and would not move up or down. I could not get the pull chain release to work so I could close it the rest of the way. I selected Precision based on their A rating on Angie's List and their proximity to my home. I was pleasantly surprised to get a same day service call appointment between 2 and 5. I got a call back that based on the technician having a call in Brecksville at noon my call was moved up to 1:00. Even better, Bill called me at 12:10 and asked if he could arrive earlier, which was fine because I work in Brecksville. Bill was at the house when I arrived and proceeded to diagnose the problem. The large gear that moves the chain to lift the door was stripped. Bad news the opener was so old that it did not have the safety sensor that is required by code and he was prohibited from repairing the gear. We had to get a new opener. Bill showed me the models available with the full installation price including tax. I selected the base model LiftMaster .5 hp belt drive and Bill got to work installing it. He was finished just before 2:00 PM so I missed minimal time from work. He was very professional and courteous. Bill even set up the HomeLink transmitter in my car before he left. Overall this was a very good experience.
