I HAD TO SEND YOU THIS FOLLOW-UP COMMENT ABOUT MATT'S SECOND VISIT TO HELP ME CONNECT THE HOMELINK BUTTON IN MY CAR. MATT CAME OUT SATURDAY MORNING AND SPENT 45 MINUTES ATTEMPTING TO GET EVERYTHING WORKING. UNFORTUNATELY IT DID NOT WORK. MATT SAID HE WOULD INVESTIGATE AND GET BACK TO ME WITH AN ANSWER. A second visit was needed because the door was still stopping partially closed or open. The first visit you replace most moving parts with your $850 overhaul. The second visit you diagnosed the electronics in the opener as causing the same symptoms as I originally reported before the overhaul. Anyway, all seems well now. But, it made me wonder if the overhaul was really necessary and maybe only the new Liftmaster unit would have fixed my original problem? Eric said the door itself was hard to move before the overhaul and that satisfied me. The new belt drive that Eric installed is so quiet compared to my old chain drive and I am very satisfied with that. Also the outside remote pad is very convenient for use by my family.
Thank you for your feedback Mr. Murach. I apologize that it took us two visits to have your door and opener working properly. I can assure you after speaking to Eric that you did indeed have multiple issues at the time of service. I hope Eric explained that the opener and the door are two separate entities. Openers are only designed lift between 10-12 lbs. The issue with your opener was directly caused by the old, worn parts on your door. Now you have some peace of mind.

Please post this review for me. I had the pleasure of having Bill come out to work on our Garage door this evening. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Bill Adamini. He arrived on schedule, explained every little detail of what he found component by component, explained further every detail of the repair, and completed it taking great care all the while even with our cars right nearby. He didn't give us the run around. or try to rush out or undersell us even though it was late at night on a Sunday. Bill is definitely a keeper! PDS uses only high quality parts and sends well trailed professionals to perform service. I'm quite impressed with the fit and finish of the parts and the work that was done. Top notch!

I have used Precision before and found them to be fair and honest. Ryan took care of us on that visit. Today, our garage door would not open, Bill was the tech who came to take care of us. He found that our pulley system was broken and unsafe. He replaced the pulleys and installed safety hardware. Then he found that our door would not work, due the fact that the motor was burned out (probably from my wife trying to open the stuck door). We just couldn't afford to install a brand new opener at this time and we were resigned that we would have to manually open and close our garage door. Not a pleasant option with Cleveland winter just around the corner. Bill said don't give up yet, he went to his truck and found a replacement part from an opener he had removed from another job earlier in the day. He was able to get the opener working. He also reprogrammed our remote. The door opens and closes perfectly and I now have the peace of mind knowing that the entire system is safe. My wife was so pleased with the effort that Bill went to to make sure our issues were taken care and at a price we could afford, she give him a couple slices of chocolate cake. When the time comes to replace our 20+ year old opener we will be calling Precision Door again. Thank you very much for your hard work Bill !!!
