Bill was very professional when he arrived to install a new garage door opener. He did the work efficiently and to high standards. He tightened up a cable on the garage door and lubricated the door assembly as well. We had one minor unforseen issue (not related to the technician or install) and Bill has been great about getting back to us in a timely fashion and taking care of it. Overall very satisfied.

Had a spring break on our garage door and Anthony came out to fix it. He immediately noticed other problems with the door which could lead to much more severe issues. He presented us with all our fix options and the price points for each. We quickly came to an agreement on what needs to be addressed. Anthony was done with the fix within an hour and the door is now working better than it did before. All along he was very friendly and professional.

The technician that provided the service was within 30 minutes of my call, the technician was on time when he called and that he was on the way. He was very proficient his work style and completed the task within 20 minutes of arriving. He was very professional in his approach, and was and informative about the service. I feel like I was truly taken. The spring broke, I needed it replaced. The service call price was never discussed on the phone - $65 no matter what - then they charged me $185 PER spring. Then he wanted to sell me a host of other items that would total the bill to over $800... Later in the day I learned that I was over charged considerably compared to other door companies in the area. I would never recommend to anyone. What a rip off. Go someplace else!
We are truly sorry you feel that way Mr. Antolik. There are a few issues going here. First, let us address the service call. All service companies charge a service call fee for coming to a customers home, usually more than $65.00 whether work is done or not. Secondly, our springs cost $185.00 because they're higher quality of spring than our competitors and last many years longer. Also, our technicians look not only at what is broken, but also parts that are worn and will cause the door to malfunction in the future. Our goal is to "fix the door right the first time", so the homeowner doesn't have to worry about it again. Lastly, it is quite unfair to compare us to the other garage door companies in the area because they do not provide the same level of service that we do. Please, compare us to someone that has 24hr emergency service, that offer lifetime warranties and have trained technicians. I hope that over time you will come to realize that you paid a fair price for what you received.

Ryan Freeman called ahead of time to tell us he was on his way. He worked diligently all afternoon removing the old doors and installing the new ones. He showed us the lock we could use if our garage door openers didn't work. Ryan was very courteous and cleaned up nicely when he finished. We were very pleased and wrote a review for Angie's List. After Ryan left, we remembered we had a gift certificate for $100 off the purchase of two garage doors. We got it a few weeks ago in a Valpak mailing. If there is any way to still use it, please let me know.

Bill Adamini called because he had an earlier cancellation...he arrived within 10 minutes of his phone call & proceeded with an inspection of the faulty door opener When it was determined that it couldn't be fixed, due to its age, he offered to replace it. He quoted me what seemed to be a fair price & had a new door opener installed within an hour. We ultimately replaced both door openers and I now have a keypad also....the work was done quickly, the cleanup efficient. I like the idea of a lifetime guarantee. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone. Thanks so much

I decided to try Precision after reading all the reviews on Angie's List. I do not regret my decision. One can find less expensive companies to do this kind of work, but Precision is all about quality. And don't forget the lifetime warranty on their parts. My technician, Bill, came on time. He is professional, personable, knowledgeable, and let me know his analysis and all my options. He recommended certain things without pushing or trying to upsell. He informed me and allowed me to make a decision. In addition to the new opener (with remotes and keypads), I had a complete door refurbish done (springs, cables, rollers, etc.). In a few years when I consider a new door, I will definitely call Precision.
