Al was very courteous. we really like our new garage door. The windows let in a lot of light during the daytime. The insulation keeps the inside cooler the summer time and allows us to go into the garage without a coat on in the winter.

Precision garage Doors is not a company I can recommend. The technician gave me what I thought was an extremely high price at first and then continually lowered it to try to get me to use his services. To me that makes it seem like the company is trying to get as much money as they can by initially giving a price which is much higher than what they are willing to do the job for. Also, after I had been told the price for the consultation was $40 the technician said the price would be $65 because he had to take time to look at the garage door and talk to me. Isn't that what the consultation is for? He did however waive that fee when I objected. The company that repaired my garage door gave me a much lower price plus they did not require that I first do a consultation which I would have to pay for if I choose not to use their company. I feel that not using this company to repair my garae door was a very wise decision. Even with having to pay for the consultation, I saved over $200 dollars.

Based on your experience, I can understand why you feel that way. First, let me say there are many ways to repair a garage door. Experience has shown the best way to repair a door long term is to rebuild it. Not to say you can't replace a spring or a broken cable. We have found that putting a bandage leads to call backs and unhappy customers. Ultimately we will do whatever our customer wants but again the best way to repair a door is to rebuild it and we guarantee it will work perfectly. Obviously my technician did not adequately explain our company to you. Precision Door uses the best parts available and we offer lifetime warranties, which other companies do not. I don't apologize for our prices, what I do know is that we provide the best service in the industry. It is difficult to compare us to other garage door companies because we take a different approach. Our goal is to fix your door right the first time and give you peace of mind. I do apologize that your experience was not a positive one. Hopefully, you will grant us the opportunity to change your perception of our company. Also, thank you for your feedback. It gives us the opportunity to improve our service.

I had inadvertently closed the garage door and the only working opener was in my car, in the garage.This happened around the last week of November. It was 8:00 PM and I tried to open the door manually with no success. I called your company and they scheduled an appointment between 10:00 and 12:00.The on-call technician, Eric, called within a half hour and was on site by 9:00 PM. He worked for about a half hour to manually unlock with no success. I authorized him to cut a hole in a panel so we could hit the switch to open the door. This garage had no other means of entry (side door, window, attached to house). He took the information for the new panel and explained that when the door was installed originally, the manual release was installed to the frame of the door instead of the release mechanism. The panel came in about two weeks later and Eric came to do the installation. Unfortunately, the wrong panel had been ordered and the door was not fixed. Eric did install the new panel on Thursday and I no longer have to get out of the car to open and shut the door! The only disappointment was the length of time it took to install the panel. The technician was terrific: very polite and professional, always prompt and called when enroute. I do not know whether this happened by accident or deliberate - I think it was critical to your success that the same technician was on the job thru to completion. Prior to installation we were contacted to determine best date and time and you were always very accomodating. I would definately make referrals to you in the future and call you for additional assistance and purchase. Thank you for your assistance!

Knowing about Tom and his level of service was an added benefit min putting my mind at ease. On the day of my appointment, Tom gave me a courtesy call informing me of his estimated time arrival. Upon his arrival I was greeted pleasantly with a warm smile and a firm handshake. After evaluating what needed to be replaced Tom told me what options were available considering I had service rendered on the same garage door less than a year ago from a competing Company. Throughout the job, Tom displayed no sign of unease by my questions or watchful eyes upon him. Tom exceeded my expectations by lubing my garage door, adjusting the chain and operator of one door and not only did he service that door he took upon himself to inspect my other door. I appreciate the prompt response to fixing my daughters garage door opener.I met with Tom since my daughter was moving back to Cleveland from Columbus due to a job transfer. With one days notice Tom actually showed up earlier than the appointment we had scheduled for that day. Within about one hour door was working well. I was desperate to get the garage door opened after work one evening. I had been having many issues with car and had just started a new job. Dear sir I am "very" disappointed with the replacement of my garage door. I was told that my opener would be reconnected, it was not. I expected some provision to be able to diconnect the opener, if it were to fail, so I could open the door. There is only a small handle on the bottom of the door to open it manually.

The day we installed Mr. Watsons door he was not home. He had some expectations the installer was not aware of. Once we became aware that Mr. Watson was not happy we returned and took care of both of his concerns. Mr Watson is no longer "disappointed"

The technician was very polite. However he did not have the equipment necessary to fix my gargage door and tried to sell me a garage door opener system instead. He said he would get back to me to schedule another appointment but I have yet to hear from him. Im starting to believe that he never intended to fix the lock on garage door and was trying to get a bigger sale. I do not want a system I just want to be able to lock my garage.
