My garage door opener started to make noise indicating that it was reaching its end-of-life. I found Precision Door on the internet. I called them first thing in the morning and made an appointment for 5pm that day to explore repair or replacement options. A few hours later, I received a call from Al advising that he was nearby and asked if I wanted to move the appointment to 11am. I agreed. Al arrived and concurred that I was in need of a new opener. I elected to have the Marantec PDS-4700eL belt driven opener installed. Upon installation, it was discovered that the springs and rollers were in need of replacement as well. Ninety minutes later, I had a new opener that was so quiet I questioned if it was running or not. I'm very pleased with the product and the installation. A couple friends are rather impressed as well and plan to replace their openers with the same company and brand when necessary. It must also be noted that Precision's prices are rather competitive.

EXcellent job. Steve was early always a plus and he was very polite. He explained everything so I could understand the new system for opening and closing the garage. Old habits are hard to break but he explained how this was much safer. Bottom line great job. Would not hesitate to call again.

My garage door would not go up, and I could not open the man door because I had misplaced the key. My car was trapped in my garage with no way to get to work! I called Precision Garage Door and got an appointment that same day. Jeremiah Byrd was there on time and was very personable and professional. My garage door was repaired and I was on my way to work within 45 minutes! The whole experience was handled professionally, from the receptionist who took my call and dispatched the work timely, to the final repair. I would recommend Precision Garage Door to all! Service call late Saturday night got service person to my house before 9 am Sunday. Prompt, courteous, fast and explained everything. My wife was to go to surgery the next day so we were really relieved. Said door panels were cracked, he would see if they were still available and could be replaced economically. Haven't gotten a quote yet, but that was only yesterday. They are top flight.

I really have no idea why I chose to call other than the ad was bigger than most in the phone book but boy am I glad I did. My garage door had been repaired twice for the same thing and I thought it was under warranty. When I called the last company that came out and they had no idea when I would hear from a technician that bothered me. Then the tech called and said he could not come out same day,even though my integral garage door would not close AND he advised me that my warranty had expired. I knew that I had to find someone else quickly. I think it was GOD's grace that led me to you guys. Al was great and knowledgable and very courteous. He explained what was wrong and more than one way he could make things right! He did not pressure me in any way and did the job expeditiously. He also gave me a written warranty so that I know exactly what I paid for! Hopefully I will never need my garage repaired again but if I do, I want Al to come back again!

Jeremiah arrived as scheduled, he even called ahead. Jeremiah brought to my attention some other (legitimate) issues which I was not aware of. He replaced two springs, broken cable drums, and the center bearing. Jeremiah did not badger me on some other mildly worn parts, he used his own ladder and tools, and completed the work surprisingly fast.
