Al was courteous and professional. He asked relevent questions and provided me with several options that met my needs. Jim Boland is a very customer oriented technician and he did an excellent job servicing my garage door. He arrived exactly when he said he would, did a complete check up, serviced the door and opener and replaced a hinge that I didn't even know was broken. My first experience with Precision was two years ago to replace a broken door spring. I was extremely impressed. They setup an appointment at my convenience. Their technician (Frank) was punctual and friendly, and I could tell he was also very knowledgeable and experienced. I agreed to have him do a complete overhaul and I'm glad I did. My old door and operator were in need of lubrication and with the new nylon rollers it really made the door much quieter. I recently called on Precision again to adjust the door because it got out of alignment. Again, they were responsive, courteous, and professional. And their technician (Jim) was friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly determined that the problem was a worn cable on one side, so he replaced BOTH sides to be safe. He also noticed that I had recently installed a new operator, so he took it upon himself to check that the auto-reverse feature was set properly. I was very satisfied and more so because this visit was free of charge -- completely covered by the lifetime guarantee I received from my earlier overhaul.

Brad the gent who initially installed my door was courteous and punctual. Jim got involved when the paint on my door started chipping without even going through one winter. He assured me he would take care of and did, by installing a new door. Then I had issues with the inside of the door holding water from the uncalked window panes. When opened it would leak from every screw hole on our heads. Again, Jim displayed such patience and excellent customer service throughout this ordeal. Jim is an anomaly. I would be honored to hire such a man of character and integrity. I would definitely give Precision Door a 5 star rating, not for quality but for service which separates the great companies from the average. Well done!

I met Jim Boland at the Lakewood home show. We set up an appointment and he arrived promptly at the time set. He looked at the door and suggested that only the bottom panel needed to be replace along with the wheels and a general servicing.
