We had a broken spring on our garage door. I was very happy with the prompt response from the technician arriving within 2 hours of our call. We were made aware of when he would be arriving. He was very thorough and explained things well.

I cannot possibly portray my disgust at the customer service I have received from Precision Door of Cleveland. A technician came out to service our door last week and charged us a significant fee ($750) to do more work than we had planned on doing. The following day, our door would not close. This obviously presented an issue considering, with plenty of possessions inside, we could not leave our garage door open indefinitely. We called the company and were told by the operator that she didn't have the authority to 'double-book' someone to come fix it. We were assured she had left messages with the manager/owner and he would call us back that evening. This was Friday afternoon. Monday, still no one from Precision had called us back. We called again Monday evening and were told again a manager would call us. It's Tuesday afternoon and still nothing. I realize this company has plenty of good reviews - and I'm sure their technicians are talented people who do good work - but to have management and ownership that is so careless and neglecting when it comes to their customers' safety and well-being is simply abhorrent. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CROOKS.

Will was very helpful and identified our problem quickly. He determined our opener could not be fixed and had to be replaced, but cautioned us that a new opener could be damaged by the current state of our garage doors. He walked us through our door options, made a few recommendations based on our home design, and finalized a package (door and opener) that would solve our grarage door problem. William Coad was out on March 18th to fix our garage door. It had slipped out of the track due to door panels being frozen shut and it opening askew, several of the rollers had come off. He had the door reset in about 20 minutes. He was very polite and informative! Thank you for your prompt service!

All was as advertised. Zoran did a great job in explaining our options, and when we made a choice, he installed new springs and a new opener right away. He showed us how to use our new controls and made sure they worked before he left. He also told us items we did not need to replace and some that are not necessary but may make the opening / closing process smoother.

Zoran came out on time and quickly analyzed the problem. Repaired garage door and went over cause of the problem and what would be needed in the future to prevent future problems. Charged the minimum amount for the service call. Very satisfied and would recommend to others.

Installer was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. My only issue was the cost. I was quoted $185 to replace my broken door spring but the installer said he couldn't replace just one spring so it was twice as much to replace the broken one plus the spring that wasn't broken. And because their new springs mounted to the center plate differently, they also replaced that (another $90 for that little piece of metal) to bring the total bill to $460.

Precision is always quick to get to my house when I have an issue. I’ve required a second visit from the tech to tweak something a couple of times. He comes promptly and addresses the issue. No complaints.

The second thing is the email I received telling me the name of the technician along with a link so I could see his face and read his bio. John was great. He was thorough, complete, efficient, and totally professional. He corrected the initial problem and them pointed out one safety issue (raveling cable) and explained the reason for the noise (new rollers would eliminate). Installation was quick. Door works great. Someone was able to come out within an hour of my call. The person was very knowledgeable and answered many questions about potential maintenance or repair that may be needed in the future. He was able to quickly get the panel back into where it needed to be following an impact with a moving vehicle. The former home owner actually had Precision install the current door and and based on that and this experience, I would happily recommend them to others.

Fantastic service. I called around 1 pm for a broken cable and some other issues and by 5 pm had a beautifully functioning garage door. Paul was courteous, polite, neat, and explained what he was doing in more detail that I will ever understand. I think he also oiled the garage door that we didn't call to have serviced, because it doesn't squeak anymore and moves smoothly. I highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door!
