First let me say that when i first contacted Precision garage door for an estimate, they sent out a tech the very same day. Other companies were not willing to do that. Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, "Eric Kirby", my service techincian, was extremely professional and kind. My wife and I were pleased dealing with him. However, I was a little sad that we had to pay over $700 to get my truck out and have our garage door repaired. Times are tough. But, I am grateful that Eric was able to repair our garage door quickly, and we could get our truck out. I believe that Eric repaired the door so that it will operate effectively for many years to come. My wife and I are tried of having to have the door be fixed by so many "local garge door companies" using poor, inexpensive parts which eventually break down. Hopefully, this will be the last time that we have to have the door repaired. I would highly recommend your company. Your company is honest and professional. Precision was recommended by a friend to possibly get me out of a jam. My garage door came off track, and Precision was here in less than 2 hrs after I called (promptness counted). Long story short, the rep who showed up (Albert Fleming), was excellent. He temporarily fixed my door, but was honest enough to let me know that the original door was on it;s last leg (in excess of 20 yrs...he did not know). Anyway, without being pushy, he recommended a new door. Even though this was not in my current budget, I did not feel that Al was taking advantage of me. See, I am a 69 yr old Senior Citizen (prime pickings), but I felt confident following his recommendation. He did an excellent job w/the installation..definitely told me to call him if there is a problem. I am very happy with my choice of compamies and installer.

I found you in on the web because you were listed as a Liftmaster service provider. Matt came here ahead of time and was extremely professional, friendly, and did the work quickly. He was honest about what was needed, and did not push too much - which I really don't like. He seemed to enjoy his work. When he left the garage was as clean as it was when he started.

All the work was done quite well. I would make one comment.. I think technician should also be trained on electrical work as there are cases where a new electrical outlet might be need to connect the opener and maintain overall asthetic of the area.

Matt was terrific! A couple of days before a party at our home,our garage door finally gave out - and it was stuck open on a precarious angle. Ugh!We had heard great things about Precision and so we called to get an estimate on a replacement. Our garage door first refused to open at 8:00 one evening. By noon the next day, Mitch from Precision had completely rebuilt the door for us. He appeared promptly on time, was couteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I found Precision on Angie's List, where it was very highly rated. In my opinion, Precision deserves all the accolades it receives. This probably is not the cheapest door service it is possible to find, but it worth every cent you pay for it.

Having fallen victim to a broken garage door torsion spring, I contacted Precision Door on a Monday and scheduled an appointment for Friday. In the 90+ degree heat, Brad showed up and happily / quickly fixed me up with a new spring and support bar in what seemed like only a few minutes. In this day and age when no one seems to have enough spare time, and other repairmen and contractors turn away work or repeatedly fail to keep their appointments, I would recommend Precision Door to anyone seeking timely and affordable repair for their garage doors.

We knew we had a broken garage door spring (torsion spring). When Bill A. came out, he showed me that we had more than just a 'spring' problem---actually several parts needed to be replaced because they were wearing out or already broken (such as the 'shaft'). We were dismayed the whole job cost more than $900, however, our existing parts were over 30 years old, so it was time. The springs cost a LOT more here in Cleveland than they did in L.A. when I had my garage door springs replaced by Precision. I was also dismayed when the door refused to go down in the early afternoon (the same day the parts were replaceed) and I had to have Bill A. come back again to make an adjustment. My brother, who is an electrician, came over in the afternoon before Bill returned and he (my brother) actually determined what the problem was and made the adjustment (to the sensor).

The price may have been more than you anticipated but Bill was able to convey the value of going with the lifetime warranty. I was extremely pleased by the quick, professional & courteous service provided by Brad at Precision. One of our 2 garage doors literally just fell down and was hanging precariously by the springs and attachment to the opener. He took his time assessing the problem and explained everything in detail, answering all questions. In addition to function, my main concern with our older garage doors was safety...Brad looked over both doors and gave his recommendation, as the one that hadn't fallen down could have at any time. He made all repairs that day & the doors are working better & more quietly than they ever have in our 8 years at our home. Most importantly, they are safe for our family.
