My experience is frustrating based on the fact when I called for a Service Call Estimate I was quoted a very reasonable fee, which I inquired further are their any other fees? The C/S responded with "just a fee" for repair and again I felt it to be reasonable. The technician was very professional, courteous and informative. However, my issue was/is that my garage door occasionally would open for no reason at anytime. The recommended solution was to reprogram my door opener and remote noting he is not 100% positive this would solve the issue. Yet charged me an additional $64,00 for 20 min of time. I had a coupon for $20.00, which he rejected. Problem is not fixed yet.

Anthony did a great job! He took one look at our LED lamps in the garage and thought they might be the problem! When we changed them out to incandescent the garage door remote worked fine! Leave it to the professionals! Great job! He lubricated the doors hinges, reprogrammed my car and was done in about 20 minutes! Well done!

Anthony showed up fifteen minutes early, was polite and got right to the job at hand. Within thirty seconds had the problem diagnosed and fixed. The fee was very reasonable and Anthony was on his way within fifteen minutes. It was a pleasure dealing with him. Piece on my opener snapped. Came out next day on a Saturday. Installed a new unit quickly. Helped me out with a couple other aspects of the door and also helped to reprogram the openers built into our cars. Good service.

Our garage door wouldn't open. The technician came and the the inspection, and we knew that just for coming out and performing the inspection, it would cost $65. The technician explained to us that the total cost would be $800 to fix everything. We have a home warranty, and part of the warranty process is to call the home warranty and have the on-site technician speak to the representative, in order for the home warranty representative to determine if we (as homeowners) could be reimbursed for services rendered; this required the technician from Precision to speak to the home warranty representative, which took less than 3 minutes. After discussing what work needed to be done for our garage exactly, we (me & my partner) stepped away to discuss what to do. The technician actually started taking equipment/tools out of his van and was preparing to start work, but we had not given our permission or approval for him to start work. We decided to get a second opinion and when we told the technician, he got very hostile and upset that we even wanted a second opinion - almost that he took personal offense that we didn't trust him or his assessment of the situation. As he was becoming more unfriendly towards us by the minute, we just wanted him gone & out of our house. My partner settled the invoice quickly -- the technician failed to explain what (and how much) we were being charged for. Later that day, we received a copy of the invoice via email which had a spot for the homeowner to sign as their way of "approving" the work and amount charged. We never signed the invoice -- it was a slash mark made by the technician. The technician actually double charged us: $65 for the inspection and another $65 for "Labor - phone call with home warranty." As previously noted, the phone call lasted for less than 3minutes. Also, the phone call should be considered as part of the "inspection" fee -- since he simply explained what the issue was with our garage door. My partner called the 1800 number several times and was routed to the billing department. He left several messages and still has not received a follow-up call. I called and asked to speak to a manager. One was in a meeting, and I left my information for them to call me back. After a week of not hearing back, I called again, and spoke to a representative who conveyed my message to a manager. They said they would send us a check of $65 to refund the "labor" portion. It's been a few weeks and we still haven't received the refund check. Personally: I do not recommend this company. You have a right to a second opinion and companies should not overcharge you or bully you into using their services.

Anthony replaced our very old garage door opener today and we are very pleased with the service we received from Precision Door and Anthony. We were able to get a next day appointment when our old equipment stopped working, Anthony called before he got here (earlier than expected), and was here for under 2 hours. In that time he installed the new door, did some basic programming, set up an extra remote for us and verified that I understood the operation. He was very coginzant of COVID precautions, wore his mask the entire time, and maintained distancing. We're very happy with the service we received.

Our experience was excellent. First making the appointment was quick (with polite people). Then, during the appointment, we were given options and knowledge and time to make our own decisions. A Google search showed us the company had great reviews and then the company sent out bios on their employees with all this detail. I was heading out Sunday morning, and found the garage door spring had broken (boy what a boom it made!). Called Precision and was given a arrival time of 4 to 6 p.m. that day. Instead the serviceman called soon after. The spring was replaced one hour later! This is the second time I've had work done by Precision.
