The new PDS-4700e moves just slightly slower than a conventional operator. This slightly reduced speed puts less stress and the door and contributes to its extemely quiet operation.

EXcellent job. Steve was early always a plus and he was very polite. He explained everything so I could understand the new system for opening and closing the garage. Old habits are hard to break but he explained how this was much safer. Bottom line great job. Would not hesitate to call again.

My garage door would not go up, and I could not open the man door because I had misplaced the key. My car was trapped in my garage with no way to get to work! I called Precision Garage Door and got an appointment that same day. Jeremiah Byrd was there on time and was very personable and professional. My garage door was repaired and I was on my way to work within 45 minutes! The whole experience was handled professionally, from the receptionist who took my call and dispatched the work timely, to the final repair. I would recommend Precision Garage Door to all! I really have no idea why I chose to call other than the ad was bigger than most in the phone book but boy am I glad I did. My garage door had been repaired twice for the same thing and I thought it was under warranty. When I called the last company that came out and they had no idea when I would hear from a technician that bothered me. Then the tech called and said he could not come out same day,even though my integral garage door would not close AND he advised me that my warranty had expired. I knew that I had to find someone else quickly. I think it was GOD's grace that led me to you guys. Al was great and knowledgable and very courteous. He explained what was wrong and more than one way he could make things right! He did not pressure me in any way and did the job expeditiously. He also gave me a written warranty so that I know exactly what I paid for! Hopefully I will never need my garage repaired again but if I do, I want Al to come back again!

Service call late Saturday night got service person to my house before 9 am Sunday. Prompt, courteous, fast and explained everything. My wife was to go to surgery the next day so we were really relieved. Said door panels were cracked, he would see if they were still available and could be replaced economically. Haven't gotten a quote yet, but that was only yesterday. They are top flight.

Jeremiah arrived as scheduled, he even called ahead. Jeremiah brought to my attention some other (legitimate) issues which I was not aware of. He replaced two springs, broken cable drums, and the center bearing. Jeremiah did not badger me on some other mildly worn parts, he used his own ladder and tools, and completed the work surprisingly fast.

Precision repaired a broken spring and bent back some hinges that were damaged when the original spring broke. As well as a little tune-up work. It was more expensive than I had hoped but Steve was very personable and professional in carrying out the work.

I called two other companies for estimates, and never received a phone call back, my husband had done business with Precision Door in the past and told me to call. I immediately got an appointment set and Al was the technician sent to my house. He was very nice and because of the wonderful e-mail that you guys sent me with the picture of the technician,I knew right away who he was.The appointment was on a Wednesday and by Friday afternoon i had a brand new garage door!I was so excited and the price was reasonable too! I chose Precision because of a previous visit to repair an existing garage door opener. At that time they were very professional and fixed my problem. So this time I called them back. The tech Brad, gave me my options, I could repair the opener that was about 17 yrs. old or replace it with a new one. He explained everything he would do & the cost. I chose the new one. Definition of insanity? Doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results. Brad Buzzelli put an end to that and, after 10 years, we're confident we've put an end to our spring problem. My garage door would not open. There was no other access to get into the garage, my service Technician, Jeremiah, was able to take off rubber molding on the side by the fascia and onlocked the levers. He replaced the lock for me and did a great job!

My garage door didn't move, but I could hear the motor noise. So I searched the internet, and called this company because I put in the key words, "garage door service", "Shaker Heights". A guy came over on the same day saying I need to change this and that. I asked him if he can make it work and I will consider his suggestion later. He then became to be not as enthusiastic as he was before. The door didn't work again just three days after the repair. I had to call another company to get it done again.

At Precision Door we put the safety of our customers first. From time to time this means that we will not repair a door if, after the repair, the door will continue to pose a hazard. Unfortunatly this customers door was in a very poor, and unsafe, condition. In spite of the danger to himself and his family he wanted only a partial "band aid" repair. He was informed at the time that the limited repair he wanted carried no warranty as it did not address the actual service issues with the door.In this case the customer was willing to ignore the Technicians advice resulting in additional service after only three days. We regret this situation occured but we will not jepordize the safety of our customers for the sake of a few dollars.
