I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door of Cleveland for garage door repair service. They cover a wide area not just Cleveland. I live in Lorain County. My phone call was answered immediately and after explaining the service required I was given an appointment within days despite it was in cold February. The technician, Anthony Wise, arrived on time, was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable of garage door repairs. He listened to my repair concerns and gave me options and worked with me without any pressure in determining my choice of service. I appreciated that! First class service on short notice by a knowledgeable and very pleasant service technician. He was able to pinpoint the problem quickly, confirm his diagnosis, and suggest a solution including several options. He explained his thoughts as he discussed the available choices and was able to help us choose what served us best. Two days later arrived with parts for a quick install with description of what was being done and improvements over older(20 plus years) replaced motor and chain. I am very disappointed with the installation. First the rails installed were longer on one side than the other. The side that was longer was longer than the rail that was originally there. The extra length of the new rail did not allow clearance for our pull down ladder. When we opened it it slammed into the rail and knocked the cable off the door. In addition to damaging our pull down ladder. When the door was installed I specifically asked if the ceiling brackets needed to be replaced. I specifically asked if they were strong enough to hold the new door. I was told they were and that they did not replace them unless they needed to and they looked solid. Today the ceiling bracket fell out of the ceiling while the garage door was open!!

My experience is frustrating based on the fact when I called for a Service Call Estimate I was quoted a very reasonable fee, which I inquired further are their any other fees? The C/S responded with "just a fee" for repair and again I felt it to be reasonable. The technician was very professional, courteous and informative. However, my issue was/is that my garage door occasionally would open for no reason at anytime. The recommended solution was to reprogram my door opener and remote noting he is not 100% positive this would solve the issue. Yet charged me an additional $64,00 for 20 min of time. I had a coupon for $20.00, which he rejected. Problem is not fixed yet.

Anthony did a great job! He took one look at our LED lamps in the garage and thought they might be the problem! When we changed them out to incandescent the garage door remote worked fine! Leave it to the professionals! Great job! He lubricated the doors hinges, reprogrammed my car and was done in about 20 minutes! Well done!

Anthony showed up fifteen minutes early, was polite and got right to the job at hand. Within thirty seconds had the problem diagnosed and fixed. The fee was very reasonable and Anthony was on his way within fifteen minutes. It was a pleasure dealing with him. So impressed with the efficiency of Anthony when he fixed our garage door! In less than a 24 hour turn around our door was fixed with skill and promptness. Given an 8-10am window of time, Anthony called first and arrived at 8:05. We would highly recommend Precision Door to all our family and friends!
