I just needed a quick follow-up service to install the battery backup for my new opener. Anthony was prompt, professional, and courteous. The installation only took a few minutes, but Anthony explained everything and answered all my questions.

I feel like I was truly taken. The spring broke, I needed it replaced. The service call price was never discussed on the phone - $65 no matter what - then they charged me $185 PER spring. Then he wanted to sell me a host of other items that would total the bill to over $800... Later in the day I learned that I was over charged considerably compared to other door companies in the area. I would never recommend to anyone. What a rip off. Go someplace else!

We are truly sorry you feel that way Mr. Antolik. There are a few issues going here. First, let us address the service call. All service companies charge a service call fee for coming to a customers home, usually more than $65.00 whether work is done or not. Secondly, our springs cost $185.00 because they're higher quality of spring than our competitors and last many years longer. Also, our technicians look not only at what is broken, but also parts that are worn and will cause the door to malfunction in the future. Our goal is to "fix the door right the first time", so the homeowner doesn't have to worry about it again. Lastly, it is quite unfair to compare us to the other garage door companies in the area because they do not provide the same level of service that we do. Please, compare us to someone that has 24hr emergency service, that offer lifetime warranties and have trained technicians. I hope that over time you will come to realize that you paid a fair price for what you received.

Ryan Freeman called ahead of time to tell us he was on his way. He worked diligently all afternoon removing the old doors and installing the new ones. He showed us the lock we could use if our garage door openers didn't work. Ryan was very courteous and cleaned up nicely when he finished. We were very pleased and wrote a review for Angie's List. After Ryan left, we remembered we had a gift certificate for $100 off the purchase of two garage doors. We got it a few weeks ago in a Valpak mailing. If there is any way to still use it, please let me know.

Bill Adamini called because he had an earlier cancellation...he arrived within 10 minutes of his phone call & proceeded with an inspection of the faulty door opener When it was determined that it couldn't be fixed, due to its age, he offered to replace it. He quoted me what seemed to be a fair price & had a new door opener installed within an hour. We ultimately replaced both door openers and I now have a keypad also....the work was done quickly, the cleanup efficient. I like the idea of a lifetime guarantee. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone. Thanks so much

Precision Door has been very responsive, sends an email confirming time of service and arrives on time. Our technician, Ryan Freeman, was efficient, personable and friendly. He installed two garage door openers, explained how to release the doors in case of power outage, showed us how to use the outside number pad to open or close the door, and how to change the bulbs in the overhead lights when necessary. Wonderful service!!! Thank you Ryan and Precision Door Service.

I decided to try Precision after reading all the reviews on Angie's List. I do not regret my decision. One can find less expensive companies to do this kind of work, but Precision is all about quality. And don't forget the lifetime warranty on their parts. My technician, Bill, came on time. He is professional, personable, knowledgeable, and let me know his analysis and all my options. He recommended certain things without pushing or trying to upsell. He informed me and allowed me to make a decision. In addition to the new opener (with remotes and keypads), I had a complete door refurbish done (springs, cables, rollers, etc.). In a few years when I consider a new door, I will definitely call Precision.

The technician, Paul, gave me a courtesy call when he was 15 minutes away which was right around the time they were supposed to send someone. I was wondering why people write so many nice reviews for a garage door guy, but I have to say I was very happy with Precision so far and will need to use them again, once I decide what to do with my garage door problem. I got a friendly, prompt estimate and no pressure to "decide right now or I can't give you our good price." Instead Jason was understanding that I needed to number crunch in my own head and consult with an out of town spouse.

Jason arrived right at the scheduled time (around 8am). I explained I wanted the yearly inspection (lubrication,etc) and a minor problem the door was having. He lowered the tracts and releveled the door, and a couple of other minor adjustments and now the garage door is working very well. He explained everything he did. Will call again next year or anytime I have a problem.

Bill came in and replaced our broken garage door opener. He came in and recommended what was needed gave expert advise regarding what he thought we needed. He replaced and installed our garage door motor in a little over an hour then walked me through the features and warranties. He also took the time to tighten grease the hinges of the garage door. Quality job all around.
