My technician was Anthony Wise. He was prompt, knowledgeable and helpful. The springs on our garage door were not correct, so he replaced them and made sure they were strong enough for our door, which is very heavy. When he replaced the old springs, he went up a size and after realizing even those were still insufficient, he replaced them again at no additional charge to make sure everything was done correctly. He also was conscientious of my time and specifically asked how much time I had before needing to get to work.

In addition, Anthony replaced the rollers on our door and it has never run quieter or smoother. I cannot possibly portray my disgust at the customer service I have received from Precision Door of Cleveland. A technician came out to service our door last week and charged us a significant fee ($750) to do more work than we had planned on doing. The following day, our door would not close. This obviously presented an issue considering, with plenty of possessions inside, we could not leave our garage door open indefinitely. We called the company and were told by the operator that she didn't have the authority to 'double-book' someone to come fix it. We were assured she had left messages with the manager/owner and he would call us back that evening. This was Friday afternoon. Monday, still no one from Precision had called us back. We called again Monday evening and were told again a manager would call us. It's Tuesday afternoon and still nothing. I realize this company has plenty of good reviews - and I'm sure their technicians are talented people who do good work - but to have management and ownership that is so careless and neglecting when it comes to their customers' safety and well-being is simply abhorrent. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CROOKS.

Outstanding service. I placed a service call at 8:30 AM and a service technician was at my home at 9:30 AM and was able to resolve the problem within 15 minutes. Note that this was a warranty service call for service performed on the door in 2008. It was a no hassle experience. The technician was courteous and professional and quickly identified the problem and replaced the cables at no cost for parts or labor. The lifetime warranty is terrific.
