In the past two years we've had Al out for two different repairs on our garage door. We called because they advertise 24 hour service. Loved that they called ahead to let us know he was running early. Fast, friendly & courteous! Al explained the state of our door and why we didn't have to invest in a new door at this time. We will call them in the future for a new install or future repair. Love love love the number kep pad opener. So convenient!

My garage door opener started to make noise indicating that it was reaching its end-of-life. I found Precision Door on the internet. I called them first thing in the morning and made an appointment for 5pm that day to explore repair or replacement options. A few hours later, I received a call from Al advising that he was nearby and asked if I wanted to move the appointment to 11am. I agreed. Al arrived and concurred that I was in need of a new opener. I elected to have the Marantec PDS-4700eL belt driven opener installed. Upon installation, it was discovered that the springs and rollers were in need of replacement as well. Ninety minutes later, I had a new opener that was so quiet I questioned if it was running or not. I'm very pleased with the product and the installation. A couple friends are rather impressed as well and plan to replace their openers with the same company and brand when necessary. It must also be noted that Precision's prices are rather competitive.

I really have no idea why I chose to call other than the ad was bigger than most in the phone book but boy am I glad I did. My garage door had been repaired twice for the same thing and I thought it was under warranty. When I called the last company that came out and they had no idea when I would hear from a technician that bothered me. Then the tech called and said he could not come out same day,even though my integral garage door would not close AND he advised me that my warranty had expired. I knew that I had to find someone else quickly. I think it was GOD's grace that led me to you guys. Al was great and knowledgable and very courteous. He explained what was wrong and more than one way he could make things right! He did not pressure me in any way and did the job expeditiously. He also gave me a written warranty so that I know exactly what I paid for! Hopefully I will never need my garage repaired again but if I do, I want Al to come back again!

I called two other companies for estimates, and never received a phone call back, my husband had done business with Precision Door in the past and told me to call. I immediately got an appointment set and Al was the technician sent to my house. He was very nice and because of the wonderful e-mail that you guys sent me with the picture of the technician,I knew right away who he was.The appointment was on a Wednesday and by Friday afternoon i had a brand new garage door!I was so excited and the price was reasonable too! My garage door didn't move, but I could hear the motor noise. So I searched the internet, and called this company because I put in the key words, "garage door service", "Shaker Heights". A guy came over on the same day saying I need to change this and that. I asked him if he can make it work and I will consider his suggestion later. He then became to be not as enthusiastic as he was before. The door didn't work again just three days after the repair. I had to call another company to get it done again.

At Precision Door we put the safety of our customers first. From time to time this means that we will not repair a door if, after the repair, the door will continue to pose a hazard. Unfortunatly this customers door was in a very poor, and unsafe, condition. In spite of the danger to himself and his family he wanted only a partial "band aid" repair. He was informed at the time that the limited repair he wanted carried no warranty as it did not address the actual service issues with the door.In this case the customer was willing to ignore the Technicians advice resulting in additional service after only three days. We regret this situation occured but we will not jepordize the safety of our customers for the sake of a few dollars.

Our garage door had stopped operating with no apparent power outage.The ad in the phone book was noticeable, and when I called, Jim was extremely friendly. I set up an appointment, and Al called to say he could be here early if that worked for me, and it worked out great. Al was very friendly and helpful. He explained the problem, and suggested getting new rollers. I would definitely use Precision again, and reccommend them !

The first time I used Precision, I needed emergency service, and they came right away to replace a broken spring. I was very pleased with the quality of work and the promptness. I was comforted by the fact that they were easily identified by their uniforms and their trucks. A few years later, I recognized their logo at the home show and had them back to make some repairs and replace our garage door openers. Again, Al was courteous, prompt,and knowledgable. I am confident this company provides continually good service in a timely fashion.

Al did a great job of repairing our garage door. He replaced all the moving parts and now my wife can lift the door with one hand. Al was very proffesional, explained why we were having so much trouble with the door and provided the expertise and parts so our door is safe and works like new.
