At first, I worried that he was doing more than necessary, but when the job was completed, it was obvious that he had done exactly what was needed. I found Precision from Angie's List. I was impressed with the high ratings the company received from customers in my area. I called for help at 9:30am and talked to very pleasant and professional customer service representative named Allison. Allison was able to schedule an appointment that day and gave me a reasonable time window when to expect my technician, Al Flemming. The e-mail I received from the company before my appointment was great. I was able to see a picture of my technician coming to my house in a few hours and read a quick bio. I liked learning a little about Al and how he enjoys his time with his kids (I found this reassuring - believe it or not). Al came to the house right on time, was professional and walked me through what needed done and the price breakdown - all reasonable and easy to understand; no games. Al repaired all the moving parts to the door, including the spings that snapped. The work was completed very quickly (30 minutes). First thing I noticed was how quiet the door opened and closed - amazing. All around, great experience especially considering I called with my problem at 9:30am and was fixed by 2:40pm that day!!! Great job and will be recommending to everyone I know!!!

Paul was a rock star. He is an excellent technician and very well mannered. Excellent service. He not only serviced my broken spring and other necessary replacement parts, but also diligently explained how a garage door operates to my 2 children. Paul was a great teacher and the kids loved it. My son gathered some broken parts for his project about pulley's at school that is due in 2 days. Thank you very much Paul. My garage used to sound horrible before, after replacing the rollers, it is so smooth. I would recommend getting this replaced if you have a squeaky garage when you open and close. Overall 5 stars.

Great experience. Anthony the technician was very professional. He came to give me an estimate but was prepared to do the job. I gave him the okay an hour and a half later my door was as good as new. This was a very old heavy wood door that is now perfectly balanced and goes up and down very easily.

I was wondering why people write so many nice reviews for a garage door guy, but I have to say I was very happy with Precision so far and will need to use them again, once I decide what to do with my garage door problem. I got a friendly, prompt estimate and no pressure to "decide right now or I can't give you our good price." Instead Jason was understanding that I needed to number crunch in my own head and consult with an out of town spouse.

Jason arrived right at the scheduled time (around 8am). I explained I wanted the yearly inspection (lubrication,etc) and a minor problem the door was having. He lowered the tracts and releveled the door, and a couple of other minor adjustments and now the garage door is working very well. He explained everything he did. Will call again next year or anytime I have a problem.
