A second visit was needed because the door was still stopping partially closed or open. The first visit you replace most moving parts with your $850 overhaul. The second visit you diagnosed the electronics in the opener as causing the same symptoms as I originally reported before the overhaul. Anyway, all seems well now. But, it made me wonder if the overhaul was really necessary and maybe only the new Liftmaster unit would have fixed my original problem? Eric said the door itself was hard to move before the overhaul and that satisfied me. The new belt drive that Eric installed is so quiet compared to my old chain drive and I am very satisfied with that. Also the outside remote pad is very convenient for use by my family.

I can assure you after speaking to Eric that you did indeed have multiple issues at the time of service. I hope Eric explained that the opener and the door are two separate entities. Openers are only designed lift between 10-12 lbs. The issue with your opener was directly caused by the old, worn parts on your door. Now you have some peace of mind.

Had a wonderful experience with Precision. I called 3 companies to get an estimate on a new door and Precision was the only one that came out on a Saturday and gave us an estimate. We had a new door in 3 days. Ryan was nice, friendly and explained what he would recommend but also stated it was up to us what we wanted. My garage door was not working properly. The spring was broken and needed replaced. Brad was out within an hour of my call to have someone come out. Brad suggested the door hardware overhaul. He was very professional and friendly. I will not say Precision was the cheapest, but a lifetime warranty on all parts and labor is worth it. I would definitely recommend Precision and will call again if we have any problems.

I looked up garage door repair for 44136 and Precision Door came up. I called late Friday evening and Brad was able to come at noon on Saturday. He was friendly and efficient and replaced a piece of track, reset the springs and oiled the tracks along with straightening the door. The price was fair, plus there was a $15 discount on their website. I would highly recommend Brad and Precision Door.

I was glad Precision was able to service my garage door on a Sunday. The torsion spring broke Saturday night and I didn't want to have to miss work on Monday. Tom arrived on time (after calling to say he was on his way!). He was very professional and explained all of my options. After I gave him the go-ahead he got right to work and completed the 'rebuild' in just over an hour. Other than the unexpected expense of the repair (a bit on the expensive side!) I had no complaints about the quality of the technician (Tom) or the work performed.
