Our garage door broke (spring) late Friday night 12-28-2018. I could not open it by hand. Called Saturday morning at about 9:45 am. By 3:00 pm on Saturday afternoon the door was repaired. The technician that came out was John Gilles, we could not have been more pleased with his professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness. During our conversation, I had asked about garage door openers. When he gave me the paperwork for the work he did he also gave me information on the openers that Precision recommends and took the time to explain the difference between them. Jim, The tech John Franks inspected my door as a result of the door on Nov. 7 malfunctioning whereas the door in the closed position going up and stopping half way with a loud snapping sound. It has been working correctly ever since and John could not duplicate the malfunction and no repair was needed. John was very polite and respectful....

Zoran reprogrammed our remote controls and made an adjustment to our garage door. He was able to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. Franks, arrived when he said he would and did a through inspection of our garage door system, he explained what work was to be done and why the work was needed, and told us upfront what the total cost would be. Mr. Franks did the repair work and new cable installation in a very professional and efficient manner. He answered all our questions. I called for service because I thought the problem was the opener, which we purchased December 2016, but it turned out to be the springs. The technician was very nice and helpful. His name was Will Coad. I did think the price was a little high, but I had to have the work done. I told Will that when we got the opener in December we never received a manual with it, he told me he would let you know and you could get one for me.

I am very pleased with the door opener. It has worked extremely well for 6 years. The current problem was just one of adjustment, although a worn wire had to be replaced. Your repairman was on time, cordial, and efficient. The problem was resolved in no more than a half hour. However, the charge was $65 to show up and $65 for labor. I paid for a life-time warranty, and I thought the charge was too much. He very quickly reduced the charge by $65 dollars. I don't feel that is a good way to do business. It made me feel like there was an attempt to take advantage of me because I am a senior. If I hadn't said anything, I would have paid $130 for a half-hour job.
