We are very happy with our new door and garage opener. We had an old door (the original garage door was installed sometime around 1949). After several years experiencing problems with the garage door opener and the old door we decided it was time to change both. The Precision employee who came to see the door was very helpful in selecting the right door for the house.

Precision Door Service, tech. Paul Broschk arrived promptly on a Saturday morning. I could not get any other companies to call back, let alone give me their availability. What I suspected would be a major service was quickly and professionally resolved. Paul Broschk went as far as correcting a separate issue and addressing a longstanding issue with the door. We had an issue with our garage door and another provider had given us an estimate and said there was no way to fix it without replacing the entire door. Bill came from Precison, explained it was not hard to fix, gave me an exact quote at the time of the visit, and took care of it right then and there. He walked me through what he did and why. The customer service was excellent - and he had my garage door running again in around an hour. Job well done.

A major issue for me in purchasing the garage door as that it would open high enough so that I could open my hatchback with the garage door open. Brad, operating mgr, was sent pictures from the garage door opener installer and Will the door salesman. Both times he said it could. The door was installed and the hatch would not open all the way. I paid for the work, unfortunately. I contacted Brad who sent a tech to look at the problem. The tech said that I should have had the garage door opener put in differently for this to happen. He could give me no cogent reason for why the door fittings could not be raised higher and he told me the door was rubbing. 2 emails and countless phone calls to Brad have not gotten a response to this issue. The tech condescendingly told me I should back in. Quite insulting.

Our technician (Al Fleming) was very professional, extremely polite, very courteous, and quite knowledgable. We really appreciate the prompt service, too. We called last evening and were up and running this morning. You could not ask for better service. We will definitely call again if we run into other issues and when we begin shopping for a replacement, we will be giving Precision as call! But hopefully that will not be for quite awhile! LOL
