Precision Door was recommended by a friend, and they had an excellent rating on Angie's List. I called because a spring had broken on the garage door. The appointment confirmation email contained photos of their technicians, so I knew whom to expect. Brad was prompt, polite and professional, explained additional problems with worn bearings on the very old garage door, as well as all options from just replacing the springs to rebuilding the parts to replacing the door completely. Because I felt the old wooden door maintained the character of the older home, I elected not to replace but to rebuild. Brad did an excellent job. I highly recommend Precision Door for your needs.

The satisfied reviewers Precision had on Angie's List, and the great deal that you offered on the garage door tune-up and roller replacement were both good advertising. Jeffery and Tom replaced the old metal rollers with much quieter ones, and fixed problems we were having the the speed and force with which the garage door opened and closed. They also fixed a problem where the garage door would open again immediately after being closed. Finally, they did a safety inspection and lubricated the moving parts. Finally our garage door works like it is supposed to!

Precision repaired a broken spring and bent back some hinges that were damaged when the original spring broke. As well as a little tune-up work. It was more expensive than I had hoped but Steve was very personable and professional in carrying out the work.

My garage door didn't move, but I could hear the motor noise. So I searched the internet, and called this company because I put in the key words, "garage door service", "Shaker Heights". A guy came over on the same day saying I need to change this and that. I asked him if he can make it work and I will consider his suggestion later. He then became to be not as enthusiastic as he was before. The door didn't work again just three days after the repair. I had to call another company to get it done again.

Our garage door had stopped operating with no apparent power outage.The ad in the phone book was noticeable, and when I called, Jim was extremely friendly. I set up an appointment, and Al called to say he could be here early if that worked for me, and it worked out great. Al was very friendly and helpful. He explained the problem, and suggested getting new rollers. I would definitely use Precision again, and reccommend them !

He did great work on the spring and very nice and pleasant to conversate. He did excellent work. The only issue is that he filled out the inspection sheet, but did not explain it to me. For example, the garage door is unbalnced was checked...what does that mean. was it because of the broken spring or something else. Overall great service on a Sunday morning.

I am happy to write a review of your service and your product. A year ago, I had a new garage door opener installed by someone who did not stand behind the job. The opener never worked well. I contacted your company and technicians came out advising me that the opener needed to be replaced. I was impressed with the professionalism, efficiency and politeness of both men. At the time I could not afford the new opener so I waited until 2010. Yes, you met my expectations. This new technician was equally professional. He serviced my garage door and gave me tips on annual service for the future. The opener works perfectly, is quiet and smooth operating. I love it! I will definetly use Precision again and recommend Precision to others.

Several months ago we needed a garage door repair. I found Precision in the Yellow Pages along with a discount coupon. We called and were very glad we did. The service was impeccable. Brad Buzzelli was the technician. He was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. At the time of the repair, we talked briefly about eventually purchasing new garage doors. Brad talked to us about it briefly, explaining our options but without any sales pressure at all. Months later, we decided to replace the old doors and called Precsion and requested Brad. We made am appointment to get an estimate. Again, Brad was prompt, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Within a week or so, we had our new doors. They were installed in a timely manner and all of the old equipment was removed from our property. We were extremely happy with the job from start to finish and would not hesitate to recommend Precision to our friends and family. Thanks!

You guys are absolutely the best garage door company out there! My wife and I are extremely happy with our new door purchases. For years we lived with our old, loud, annoying doors and operators that would aggravate us constantly. There was no way you could open the door without everyone in the house knowing, hearing that awful sound. But we didn't really know that there was something better until we met Jim and he demonstrated what a quality door and operator could do. This new system is SILENT! We see our friends' jaws drop when we press the button to show them. It's amazing what a difference a great door makes - we use this door more than any other in the house and it just makes us feel great every time we use it. The door itself is high quality and not one of those common "plinky" kinds that makes a cheap metallic sound when you flick it with your finger. It's clear that this system is built so well that it will last a lifetime and it's way worth the additional investment. No more door troubles. Thanks so much for your great service. We had used Precision in an emergency 5 years ago and Al did a great job of repairing our door. He also made sure we got the lifetime warranty which made a huge difference as he had to replace the spring and because we originally got the warranty, there was no charge on this repair.

Before spending money repairing my very old springs and brackets due a rusty, snapped chain, I was advised to buy new doors and if I did so, I could use my existing automatic door opener which I appreciated.
