Bill Adamini called and arrived for the appt early which was good. Showed me the broken spring and worn cable wires. Told me exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Finished in 1/2 hour. Lubed everything, fixed a wire and I think he even changed a light bulb. Great work! Thanks

Installer, Joe, called in advance to let me know he was on his way. He arrived precisely on time and completely explained what he would be doing to remove and replace my two old garage doors. Joe was efficient in his time, very courteous and professional. He cleared away all the debris when finished and went over care and maintenance with me. The new doors look and work perfectly. I am very satisfied with Joe's work and would highly recommend him and Precision Door.

Mr. John Franks called before his predicted arrival time (which was earlier than expected, and great). He was kind enough to take time to explain what was needed to repair my garage door before he began. He worked efficiently to complete the job in a timely manner. When I called I was advised there would be no service fee if work was performed,ànd yet I was charged the 65.00 along with the fee for spring adjustment. Then I was advised the door would be lubricated. I was not advised it was an additional fee or was given an opportunity to decline. I was not provided the breakdown on the invoice to review, only the signature line. I asked why it so high but did not receive an answer.what a deceiptfull practice. The way I see it this company owes me $85.00. There was only a spring adjustment needed and it was a 15 minute job. I cannot at this point recommend Precision as your technicians clearly take advantage of senior citizens and will be happy to share this online if it is not rectified.

I was able to schedule an appointment via online chat Sunday morning. John came out late Sunday afternoon, replaced my old opener and installed a new one in less than an hour. I was impressed with the quality, ability to install on a Sunday and John’s level of professionalism.

Installer was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. My only issue was the cost. I was quoted $185 to replace my broken door spring but the installer said he couldn't replace just one spring so it was twice as much to replace the broken one plus the spring that wasn't broken. And because their new springs mounted to the center plate differently, they also replaced that (another $90 for that little piece of metal) to bring the total bill to $460.

“Z” was early and very courteous. He explained everything he needed to do to get our garage door working like normal again. I figured he would have to come back to do the job since it was a lot of work. He said nope he would get it done in about 2-3 hours even though it was 4:00PM. Cable broke on garage door as I was closing it last Saturday. Found Precision on cover of phone book and called. Relieved that repairman was out within several hours. Took less than an hr to fix. Everyone was very professional & polite. From gal who answered phone to repairman Zoran. He explained what was wrong, the fix & the pricing. If I should need future repairs, Z said they try to send out same repairman. Company confirms service call with an email, name & pic of who was coming & what to expect. Highly recommended.

I called for a garage door opener repair; sadly as I suspected I needed a new opener. They scheduled me for the next day. Paul, an outstanding tech was excellent. Matt pulled off an amazing surprise for my elderly parents and went beyond the call of duty! I live in Virginia as was asked to pull off a huge task of surprising my parents with their very first garage door opener (without them knowing it)...perfect Christmas gift right? In 84 years, they have never had the luxury of having an automated door. Their garage was built in 1911 and it was questionable if there was even enough headroom to install one in the first place. I turned to Angie's List to find the best garage door opener installer reviews out there and just trusted it was all truth. Overhead Garage Precision Door Service was a the top of the list for all the right reasons. Their service was top notch all around! All the "covert" arrangements, appointment setting, explanation of the correct opener to purchase was done long distance over the phone. I also had the privilege of working with Brad Buzzelli and a Jeff Ware who answered all of my questions, prior to assigning Matt as our Technician. Their answering service did an outstanding job also. I spoke with a Ms Doneli and at least three other wonderful ladies. All of them were so nice and dedicated to getting me answers fast. Matt was excellent in meeting up with my brother and niece at the precise time he said he would be there...making sure the coast was clear of my parents. He was also excellent in trouble shooting when he realized there was not enough headroom but managed to install supports that would allow the unit to work perfectly. His 15 years of experience really shined at this moment of uncertainty ...he came through with his extensive knowledge of what to do in this instance. Mr. Petroff's service did not end there! Today, he called my parents to make sure everything was to their satisfaction. My mother expressed how excited she was to have such a wonderful gift! However she could not program her inside car remote because it required her to get on a ladder. With in less than 30 minutes Matt was at my parents house to not only program their car to the remote, but he also install light bulb(s) in the overhead light compartment that came with the unit. Matt would have done all of these things on the day of the install but my parents did not return until hours later for the big reveal/surprise. Matt kept his promise "to return, if needed" ....but went a step further by reaching out to them first. Matt really made this an excellent & fun experience. I will be sure to write a glowing review on Angie's List as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my parents so happy!
