Wow! The technician, Anthony, showed up 5 minutes early and finished the job in less time than quoted. He diagnosed the problem quickly and installed new equipment without using high-pressure sales tactics before completing the repair. John Franks - WOW!! - The cable on one of my garage doors broke and I needed to have it repaired. I called a couple of companies and neither of them did residential work on Saturdays. I kept looking and found Precision! Not only did they do residential work on Saturdays, they were able to send someone out the very next day!! I was thoroughly satisfied with that and when John arrived, he just added to my overall experience. John was great! He knew exactly what he was doing and explained things to me about the repair. Friendly and knowledge technician. The primary reason for call was my remote garage opener wouldn’t work due to battery issues, unfortunately the technician didn’t have batteries on his truck to get it working. Precision has good people and they stand behind their work. The garage opener they installed for me a couple of years ago was unfortunately fried by a power surge. They showed up promptly when I called and even discounted my service call to replace what had been broken. Very happy with the service!

Bill was great. Fast, efficient, friendly and positive. It's the follow up work when everything went sour. First of all they use a live answering service. These people have not been trained on how to work with Precision's customers and they don't identify themselves as an answering service so when they treat a customer badly, one assumes they're talking directly with Precision. Second, I had to wait to get the door fixed which means I couldn't use my garage. Lastly, the owner, Jim Boland, who's name is on an email stating how important customers are, does not return calls and doesn't deal with customers, I'm told. When I called a different phone number I spoke to Nick who repaired most of the damage from the post repair call. All in all, I would use Precision again but only because of Bill and knowing now how to circumvent the answering service.

When I googled electric garage doors, Precision stood out as the best choice. I didn't contact them the first time I researched companies, but a few days later a few items were stolen from my garage. I went back to the internet and contacted Precision. The same day I called a very nice man (Tony) came to give me an estimate. I had been told he would arrive between 2:00 and 6:00, and he arrived at 2:00 after calling me. He was kind and helpful and gave me an estimate. He also gave me the phone number of a man to do the electrical work before the doors were to be installed. That man (Greg) was also kind and helpful. The work was soon completed. The doors were installed and working perfectly within a couple weeks of my initial phone call. All three workers were professional and cleaned up after their work was accomplished. I highly recommend this company.

I had my door serviced exactly a year ago. The technician then talked me into purchasing the premium springs and the other components that cost twice more than the cheaper ones that he said would not last. Recently the “premium” springs have gotten loose and the garage door closed on me while I was inside it. I had to pay a service fee of over $60.00 today after the technician tightened the springs. I will never use this company again. The premium components were supposed to have been premium and should have lasted longer than the components we had before that came from the Home Depot and lasted for years.

Garage door springs broke on a Thursday Called a local garage repair company and they told me they could not repair it until Monday between 10 and 5. Then I called PRECISION Should have done that first! VERY PROFESSIONAL ON THE PHONE, WORKED WITH ME AROUND OUR WORK SCHEDULE AND IT WAS REPAIRED FRIDAY AFTERNOON! Our experience with Precision Door was a pleasure. Each of the staff we dealt with (reception/scheduling, sales, technician) was professional and courteous. Appointments were met on time and our technician, Will, arrived ready to work. He removed heavy wooden non-motorized doors and installed new doors with openers, provided two keypads, and tested to make sure they worked; then returned to install key bypass for use in event of power outage. We are pleased with the quality of the doors and openers, the installation process, and the technical expertise and customer service. Highly recommend Precision Door.
