He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me several options, from repair to replacement, with absolutely no pressure. Given the age of our opener (15 yrs) we opted to replace it. Matt finished the installation quickly and efficiently, took time to explain and demonstrate the features, and helped me set up the keyless entry. Brad did a good job. I thought it was a very expensive replacement of two springs, however. I don't mind paying for good work and good service, but the price was very high.

Brad came back on Saturday morning, just as he said he would do, we did agree that he would call us to confirm that he would come, and he did not do that. As I mentioned previously, however, Brad did a very good job. He was quick, and he was honest.

In the past two years we've had Al out for two different repairs on our garage door. We called because they advertise 24 hour service. Loved that they called ahead to let us know he was running early. Fast, friendly & courteous! Al explained the state of our door and why we didn't have to invest in a new door at this time. We will call them in the future for a new install or future repair.

Friendly fast service for a broken spring. However, new wheels not compatable with current hinges and roller off track within days. Would not replace hinges as part of hardware upgrade as expected. Disappointed in cost and trying to charge additional fee for proper hinges.

Mr. Nelson has a very unique door that was a combination of parts not normally found on garage doors. It appears that a previous owner of the home, maybe an engineer, designed and built the door himself. The hinges were not compatible with todays garage door rollers. Changing the hinges would have created a domino effect of other parts that would have to be replaced so the door would function properly. We returned to Mr Nelsons home and fixed the issues with the rollers. There have been no further issues with the door.

My first experience with Precision was two years ago to replace a broken door spring. I was extremely impressed. They setup an appointment at my convenience. Their technician (Frank) was punctual and friendly, and I could tell he was also very knowledgeable and experienced. I agreed to have him do a complete overhaul and I'm glad I did. My old door and operator were in need of lubrication and with the new nylon rollers it really made the door much quieter.

I recently called on Precision again to adjust the door because it got out of alignment. Again, they were responsive, courteous, and professional. And their technician (Jim) was friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly determined that the problem was a worn cable on one side, so he replaced BOTH sides to be safe. He also noticed that I had recently installed a new operator, so he took it upon himself to check that the auto-reverse feature was set properly. I was very satisfied and more so because this visit was free of charge -- completely covered by the lifetime guarantee I received from my earlier overhaul.
