Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

In scheduling my service appointment, I was given the name of the technician and emailed an appointment confirmation that provided his picture, bio and reviews from customers he had previously serviced. Knowing about Tom and his level of service was an added benefit min putting my mind at ease.
On the day of my appointment, Tom gave me a courtesy call informing me of his estimated time arrival. Upon his arrival I was greeted pleasantly with a warm smile and a firm handshake. After evaluating what needed to be replaced Tom told me what options were available considering I had service rendered on the same garage door less than a year ago from a competing Company. Throughout the job, Tom displayed no sign of unease by my questions or watchful eyes upon him. Tom exceeded my expectations by lubing my garage door, adjusting the chain and operator of one door and not only did he service that door he took upon himself to inspect my other door. Wow, it was quite reassuring to have someone as competent and efficient as Tom providing service to my garage doors.

Weekend service with no additional charge. Garage door opener motor stopped working completely. Especially in the winter weather, having it repaired right away was important. Having the website show the picture of the repairman who would show up is a very, very positive part of your service. Matt was courteous and showed up right on time. Installation was finished in 1.5 hours.

I was desperate to get the garage door opened after work one evening. I had been having many issues with car and had just started a new job. Your technician - Eric, arrived early and proceeded to work. The manual release was incorrectly installed and we had no choice but to please a hole in the door to access by hand.

Eric was very polite,returned all calls as he had progress and news of timeframes and costs. I definately would recommend Precision Door in the future.

Dear sir I am "very" disappointed with the replacement of my garage door. I was told that my opener would be reconnected, it was not. I expected some provision to be able to diconnect the opener, if it were to fail, so I could open the door. There is only a small handle on the bottom of the door to open it manually.

The technician was very polite. However he did not have the equipment necessary to fix my gargage door and tried to sell me a garage door opener system instead. He said he would get back to me to schedule another appointment but I have yet to hear from him. Im starting to believe that he never intended to fix the lock on garage door and was trying to get a bigger sale. I do not want a system I just want to be able to lock my garage.
