Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

I was a new home owner and had some issues with my garage door. Jeffrey Ware the owner came over to my house himself and took VERY good care of me. I got a great deal and my problem was fixed within 1 hour. Precision Door does it right and their professionals will take extremely good care of you. Matt previously repaired our garage springs but soon after we had an issue with the garage opener so we purchased the Liftmaster. Matt told us about this product during his initial visit. We were planning to make the purchase in late summer but ended up doing it sooner. Matt was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He even came back afterwards to install a master link on the chain. It was a pleasure doing business with Matt and we would recommend him to others. Hope all your technicians are as good as Matt. Mitch won my confidence when he first came to check on a possible repair/new install. My 50 plus year old garage door would not open at 6 am and I had to be down in Columbus for a meeting by 11am. Brad worked me into the beginning of his day on an emergency and was very helpful. He somehow found a way to get the garage door open and get my car out of the garage. He was so helpful and I was able to make it to Columbus in time. I am getting a new garage door through Brad and not calling anyone else for a quote. The service I was given by Precision and Brad has made me a customer for life.

On Saturday, April 7, I discovered that both the cables and springs had broken. I called your company and immediately received an appointment between 5:00 PM and 7:00PM and that Mitch would be the technician. He called to confirm and told me that he was running a little late and arrived at 7:30PM. He assessed the problem and I decided to purchase the rebuild package. He was very courteous and professional and answered all questions. The job was completed by 9:30PM I used to use another service company, but now I will only use your company. I also learned that your replacement parts have a lifetime warranty.

We love our new garage door! The premium cherry color is beautiful and it makes our house look brand new. We are very happy with the new opener that is so quiet. We are glad that we also got the key pad for easy entry, if we don't have our opener with us.

The installation went very smoothly,quickly,and efficiently. Matt did a great job and was very professional. We appreciated that Jim,the owner, also came out to make sure that we were pleased with the installation.
