Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews

This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.

At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Didn't know who to call concerning my garage door sensor problem that has been ongoing for over a year. I consulted the phone book and called Precision and so glad I did. Mitch diagnosed the problem immediately and new sensors were installed. He even oiled the hinges and that has made a huge difference. It sounds so nice when the door is opened & closed. Mitch was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.

My garage door opener started to make noise indicating that it was reaching its end-of-life. I found Precision Door on the internet. I called them first thing in the morning and made an appointment for 5pm that day to explore repair or replacement options.

A few hours later, I received a call from Al advising that he was nearby and asked if I wanted to move the appointment to 11am. I agreed.

Al arrived and concurred that I was in need of a new opener. I elected to have the Marantec PDS-4700eL belt driven opener installed. Upon installation, it was discovered that the springs and rollers were in need of replacement as well.

Ninety minutes later, I had a new opener that was so quiet I questioned if it was running or not. I'm very pleased with the product and the installation. A couple friends are rather impressed as well and plan to replace their openers with the same company and brand when necessary.

It must also be noted that Precision's prices are rather competitive.

We could not be happier with our new garage door!!! It's incredibly quiet & the garage stays warmer now. We just had a snow storm the night before & the technician showed up anyway & my new door was installed in about 2 hours. Thank you Precision Door!

I randomly chose Precision from the yellow pages because of their BBB member status. From the initial phone call to the completion of service the experience was excellent. The woman I spoke to explained that weekend service was not an additional charge and asked for the promotional, cost saving code, from the advertisement without my having to ask. The service technician, Brian, showed up on time, was professionally dressed (shirt with logo),introduced himself, and was courteous throughout the repair. He explained three repair options, with corresponding costs, and allowed me to decide without pressure. He proceeded with the repair and was in and out within the time frame he had estimated. The repair was fairly straightforward without complications. Brian explained the warranty and how to contact the company in the event of further or future problems. All in all it was a very good experience. I would, and have, recommended Precision to my friends, and associates on my Condo Association"s Board of Managers. Even though we, as homeowners, do not like to have to repair such things as garage doors, thanks for a great experience nevertheless.
